Healing helps

Our journey towards the ultimate destination starts from the moment we are born. This journey called ‘ageing’ is sometimes fraught with pain. As people get older they tend to feel lonely and experience resentment because the energy and love that they spend nurturing children gets lost somewhere. Children are often too busy to look after their parents. The anger also takes us away from God.

If the cause of the hurt is within ourselves, the healing is also to be found within. The roots of poor relationship with children often lie in one’s karma, so one needs karmic healing. Karmic healing works on the heart chakra and helps one feel unconditional love, which washes away all resentment. Loss in the will to live is reflected in a depleted solar plexus chakra, and a weakened root chakra shows up as feelings of insecurity.

Holistic healing works on several levels simultaneously. There is chakra healing with Reiki or crystals, energised foods are recommended and workshops are held for positive affirmations. Counselling and volunteering with younger groups also increases the elder person’s self-esteem, and sensitises the younger groups.

One key point that we often overlook is that older people need their bit of luxury too, sometimes as little as shampoo sachets donated to old age homes. Take them out for coffee and see how they smile. If roots are not strong, how can we grow?

Healing sessions and camps for senior citizens help them learn Occult Science. This helps them bring a lot of positivity in their lives, and also heal their karmas.

Every moment of awareness through life’s journey makes us collect experiences, wisdom, and these jewels determine our real prosperity. Nurturing the positivity of our seniors ensures that the final lap of their journey is filled with peace.
